Dear Dryvit System Owner,
Dryvit Systems, Inc. has long been an advocate of scheduled cleaning and maintenance for those buildings and residences clad with our products. Years ago we introduced the CARE Program (Care and Restoration of EIFS) which identified and promoted cleaning as part of an overall maintenance schedule. Until recently the typical method of cleaning was high-pressure power-washing techniques. We are very aware of the potential harm associated with this cleaning method and have cautioned against using excessive pressure.
Three years ago we were introduced to the Metro Clean techniques using a very low-pressure process. We had them clean our main offices in Rhode Island. Not only was the process very effective at removing the mold, mildew and other stains, it was substantially quicker than our earlier experiences with power washing. Our technical department supported the process because it virtually eliminates the potential for damage resulting from too much pressure. We began to recommend Metro Clean to our network of customers and National Accounts.
Not long after this we discussed with RPM, Inc, our parent company, the opportunity for acquisition of Metro Clean. In July of 1998 Metro Clean Systems, Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of RPM, Inc.
The Metro Clean process is safe for use with Dryvit's products, environmentally friendly and very effective. We recommend it highly. If you have any questions please feel free to call on me.
